Send an e-greeting card

See what's important to you! Glaucoma is the second-leading cause of preventable blindness worldwide and it is a priority eye disease of the World Health Organization.

Glaucoma is a group of eye diseases that slowly damages the optic nerve, the part of the eye that carries the images you see to the brain. If left untreated, glaucoma can result in vision loss or blindness. Early diagnosis and treatment is the best way to reduce your risk of progressive vision loss. There is no cure for glaucoma.

Please send an e-greeting card to a friend, family member or business colleague and spread the word about the importance of an eye exam every two years to detect glaucoma.

Choose the image you wish to send and choose a message. Then complete the information required.

The World Glaucoma Patient Association wishes to acknowledge the support from Merck, Sharpe and Dohme (MSD) for this initiative, in support of World Glaucoma Week (March 10 - 16, 2013).

World Glaucoma Week began as a World Glaucoma Day in 2008 and is a joint global initiative of the World Glaucoma Association (WGA) and the World Glaucoma Patient Association (WGPA).
